Beautiful Over 40 was created by Candace Perry of Beautiful You Studios. Growing up, she was made fun of for her skinny legs, buck teeth, & four eyes. She didn’t feel pretty until she had a professional makeover & shoot in later years.

In 2021 she turned 40, still single & suddenly being told by potential suitors that she no longer had value due to her age. Realizing that the aging process may be difficult for many women & not just herself, she decided to create this collection to show the world that women over 40 are beautiful, too. 

Since becoming a photographer in 2010, Candace's work has been published internationally & she’s received numerous accolades including being voted into the Top 10% of boudoir photographers worldwide by 78 million voters from over 118 countries during Shoot & Share's photography contest in 2019. She is passionate about helping women of all shapes, sizes, & colors feel beautiful through boudoir photography.
